How to get here
Krunikan Leima is located on Snellmaninkatu 15 in Kruununhaka District in the very center of Helsinki. Helsinki Cathedral, Government Palace and National Archives are on the same street and you can reach us by Tram No.7 and there’s a stop just front of the studio (Kansallisarkisto Tram Stop). The studio is about 10 minute walk from The Railway Station.
We are open Monday to Friday from 11 to 17 or as agreed. We usually have Walk-Ins on saturdays, but due to Covid-19 those are postponed.
If you are interested of getting a tattoo in Krunikan Leima, please fill the form here. After you have sent it, we will be in contact with you and we can book a time for consultation with an artist. Consultation is free of charge, but if you agree to book a tattoo with an artist, we will take 100 euro deposit fee which will be subtracted of the total tattoo price.
The hour rate for tattoos in Krunikan Leima starts from 120 euros / hour of tattooing. Some artist wish to give fixed price for the tattoo, while some Guest Artists charge up to 200 euros per hour. Resident Artists charge 120 euros / hour. We do not charge extra for drawing / designing and our touch ups are included in the price.
You are 18+ years old, mentally and physically able to get a tattoo and you are aware that a tattoo is permanent. You do not have medication or condition which would put you or others in risk if you get a tattoo (ie. HIV, Covid-19, Hepatitis, Heart Disease etc).
You agree to inform your artist if you have any medication (ie. acne medication) or condition (ie. diabetes, epilepsy) that might effect tattooing and you agree to follow after care instructions given by your tattoo artist and understand that by not following them, you put yourself in serious risk (blood poisoning). And you understand that tattoos might cause allergic reactions and tattoos might fade or/and blur as the time passes.
